Steps to follow for the Australian student visa

There are two modes to apply for a student visa. One is online and another is offline mode. For an online application, you need to follow steps such as:

Step 1: Create an online application account

First, you need to create an online account at ImmiAccount that is maintained by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Visit website www.immi.gov.au.

Step 2: Log in to the online application account

The next step is log in to your online application account at LoginImmiaccount to proceed with your application. You can also download the Application Form for the student visa. 

Step 3: Fill in the details

After login fills in all the required details in the application form as per your Australia student visa assessment level. Through this online account, you can also attach all the required documents. Read carefully the application document checklist to attach relevant documents.  

Step 4: Submit your application

After cross-checking the filled-up details, submit your visa application online. Also, pay the required visa application fee via online payment mode to finally submitting your application.

Step 5: Keep your TRN safely

The system will generate a Transaction Reference Number (TRN) when you submit your application. You must keep the TRN number safely to follow your application progress.

Step 6: Track your application

You can track and manage your application using the TRN. you can also identify your application and communicate with the concerned authority in case of any dispute with the TRN.

Steps of offline application for Australian Student Visa

If you cannot apply online for your Australia student visa assessment level then don’t be upset. In this case, you can lodge a paper application. 

Step 1: Get your application form

You can download an application form from the website or can collect it from the nearest Australia Visa Application Centre. 

Step 2: Lodge your application in person

Visit the nearest immigration office outside Australia. Lodge your visa application there with the required visa application fee.

Step 3: Wait for a decision

After submitting your application you have to wait for the decision.
