Easier to get into diploma courses than degree courses in New Zealand. It is because the level of competitiveness is different for both these qualifications. Higher education system in New Zealand has 1 to 10 levels of study. Level 1 stands for certificate courses and level 10 is for a PhD student.

For each course, Indian students have to meet a minimum English language requirement as per their level of study. Getting admission is easy in diplomas as compared to degrees. Foundations and Diploma programs are available to students who have scores below 60% in higher secondary education. Class XII students can opt for either bachelor’s degree or a 2 year diploma course. A diploma of 2 years is a necessity for all undergraduate students. Admissions would depend upon requirements of the course.
Australia
For UG courses in Australia, almost all the universities require 12 years of pre-university education. It makes that a little easier for Indian students to get admission directly to the course/degree of their choice.
In PG courses, After finishing a three-year UG degree you can get admission. If you opt for engineering, you will need a four-year UG degree in engineering. To get admission in it is not mandatory to submit GMAT or GRE exam scores. Admissions for international students is based on NOOSR guidelines(country-wise eligibility of students).
No work experience is required in the case of management courses at some colleges. For the same you need to enrol in a graduate certificate or graduate diploma program. TOEFL or IELTS may or may not be waived by the university depending upon the course.
